D CEO Awards GSR-Andrade Project “Best Industrial Lease” for 2018

Each year D CEO recognizes finalists in more than 15 different categories for their annual Commercial Real Estate Awards.  This year GSR-Andrade was fortunate enough to have a project nominated and named as a finalist.  We are pleased to announce that the Wayfair Distribution Facility was awarded Best Industrial Lease for 2018 at the Commercial Real Estate Awards Gala on March 28th.

Developed by Duke Realty, GSR-Andrade designed this nearly 900,000 sq. ft. build-to-suit distribution facility to be built in Lancaster, TX.  The new facility will have high visibility from I-35 once complete. It was designed to maintain a 36′ clear height, approximately 14,000 square feet of office space, 187 trailer storage stalls, and 250 automobile parking spaces with the ability to expand to over 400 spaces.

According to D Magazine, the long term lease on this facility is one of the largest in North Texas in 2017. The Wayfair Distribution facility is expected to bring 250 jobs to the area. Construction began November 1, 2017 and is expected to complete August 2018.
